A trip into the Galicia and the Bay of Biscay will offer up the oceanic climate providing moderately cool winters and summers. If drier climate is more to your liking then head for the city of Murcia. This area provides the semiarid climate that is some of the best weather that the country of Spain will offer.
The annual rainfall is less than other areas, but it does receive a bit more than other arid climates. Subtropical weather can be found in the Canary Islands in Las Palmas. If hot summers and warm winters are appealing to you then this might be a great place for you to visit. At last there is the fantastic Mediterranean climate providing cool wet winters and serving up hot dry summers.

For many people depending upon the climate that they favor the most, Spain is a great destination all year long. Overall the best months to visit or take that fantastic vacation are May, June and September for the majority of the country. If you’re interested in the cities and towns of the South, then you might enjoy the weather in April and October when it’s the best. The months of July and August are when the extreme heat comes on and it certainly doesn’t mean that people don’t visit during those months.
For some people from other countries it’s a refreshing change from the temperatures that they live with daily and they enjoy the Spanish weather and that sizzling heat. Retreating to the Northwest between June through August and finding cooler temperatures may be more agreeable to your tastes.
As with many different climates you need to dress according and if visiting pack the proper type of clothing. It’s also easy to shop in Spain while you’re there, where you may pick up some lighter-weight cottons and other clothing that are better designed for the higher summer temperatures.
